WORSHIP 9:00 AM
In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ we extend to you a warm invitation to join us for worship, Sunday school and all of our parish activities. We believe in one God, who has revealed himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that through Christ’s death on the cross and his resurrection, we are offered the forgiveness of sin and salvation. The faith of the Lutheran Church is grounded in Holy Scripture which together with the creeds and the confessions of the church, provides a stable faith in often chaotic and troubling times. We are a sacramental church stressing Baptism and the Lord’s Supper as the means of God’s grace and gift of the Holy Spirit. All who are baptized are welcomed to receive Holy Communion. Those who seek to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, but not yet baptized are welcomed at the table for a blessing.
SUNDAY SCHOOL 10:15 AM
Children are an integral part of the life of the Church and we encourage their participation in Sunday services as well as Sunday school. The curriculum we use is flexible, allow for discussion, fun projects and are geared to each age group. We also stress Stewardship and caring for others.
Additionally, we have an active Youth Group who traditionally attends the National ELCA Youth Gathering, participates in World Hunger 30 Hour Famine and a variety of other fundraising and service events. Every summer we host Vacation Bible School. During the Christmas season, a traditional Christmas pageant is produced at Our Saviour with Santa Claus as our guest.
