Worship and Sunday School

In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ we extend to you a warm invitation to join us for worship, Sunday school and all of our parish activities. We believe in one God, who has revealed himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  We believe that through Christ’s death on the cross and his resurrection, we are offered the forgiveness of sin and salvation. The faith of the Lutheran Church is grounded in Holy Scripture which together with the creeds and the confessions of the church, provides a stable faith in often chaotic and troubling times. We are a sacramental church stressing Baptism and the Lord’s Supper as the means of God’s grace and gift of the Holy Spirit. All who are baptized are welcomed to receive Holy Communion. Those who seek to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, but not yet baptized are welcomed at the table for a blessing

We worship with our sister congregation Trinity Lutheran Church located at 309 St. Paul’s Ave (corner of Beach St.)

Sunday School: 10:00AM – We use a flexible program for Sunday School. For children Pre K 3 through 9th grade we use age appropriate programs which include videos, lessons, Bible study, discussion, fun projects, music, movement, crafts and snacks. Most of our Sunday School teachers are professional teachers or involved in education and are very astute to the needs of our children and ensure lessons are tailored age appropriate. Sunday School meets at 10:00 and usually lasts for one hour. Thereafter, children are accompanied back to their parents and join in the worship service.
